Riley's homecoming has been delayed =(

We found out this morning that Riley's homecoming has been delayed until next Tuesday (hopefully). The doctors ordered one more home care machine for Riley to help her respiratory system and we have to wait for it to come in and then get trained on how to use it before she can come home. We are sad that she is not coming home tomorrow but it is for the best because Ayden has a little cold and it also gives us more time to get in a little extra training. All of our training is going well, we have changed her trach several times and both feel comfortable (as comfortable as possible, I guess) with everything. Josh and I spent the night at the hospital last night and provided all of Riley's care for 24 hours. . . it was pretty exhausting - sleeping in insanely uncomfortable hospital beds and it was hard not to get up every ten minutes to check on her because I was nervous being her main care giver. But she did great (and so did we)! If someone had told me a few months ago that Josh and I would be doing some of the medical stuff we do for Riley I would have told them they are out of their minds! But God's grace in more than sufficient for our every need and He will never give us more than we can handle, even though some times I wish He didn't trust us to handle so much! :) Thanks again for all your prayers and support!
