Riley is scheduled for discharge from Wolfson NICU this Thursday! We are so excited to finally be bringing her home!!!!! Josh and I are getting training this week on how to change her trach tube, take care of her g-tube, infant CPR and how to do all of the other things that Riley needs. They have ordered all the medical equipment and supplies that we will need for her at home and we are starting to be trained on how to use all of them as well. Also, she will be coming home with 24 hour nursing care (at least for the first few weeks she is home) - we are glad for the medical support but it will be really weird having total strangers in our home 24/7. . . but what ever it takes for her to come home. We can't wait to finally all be together as a family! Please join us in praying for a smooth and safe homecoming.

I am rejoicing that your little one is coming home. I want you to know that my son once had a g button. We continued to pray and feed him by mouth. We were told that he would always be on it. He came home from school one day and it had come out!!! He has not had a tube feeding in over 15 + years! God is so good. He eats and drinks everything through his mouth!!

Hey Josh and Becca its Sam from midtown. Josh in sevice 2day said that all things happen 4 a good reason and you guys will some day proabalby help poeple that will go through the same proablems.Becca hey i dont know if josh told you this or not but i know some one that has the same proablem that riley has and he is 16 almost 17, and i just wanted 2 tell you guys that she is going to be with you guys for a wile so Josh you are going to be carring those bags 6 Bags 4 a while. I LOVE you guys and do me a favor and tell Aden i said hi!
