Riley is still in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital but she should be coming home tomorrow! :) She is back to breathing on her own with out the ventilator and she is doing much better. Also, you can tell she feels better because she has been smiling alot more and she has been much more active this weekend than she was while she was sick. We are hoping to get a meeting on Tuesday to sit down with her Geneticist, Neurologist, Pulmonologist, and other doctors to discuss her diagnosis, prognosis, and where we go from here as far as further testing, etc.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers for Riley's complete healing and for our fiances - as of today, we have officially tapped out our insurance coverage but we are still waiting to see if our medicaid appeal will go through. Navigating though all of the medical assistance programs is a nightmare but we definitely need help, as one of her doctors put it - this would break a rich man.
