Riley had her surgery this morning and everything went very smoothly. The doctors put in her trach tube and feeding tube (g-tube) and also took samples for a muscle and nerve biopsy. She did really well and is recovering nicely. They are taking her off the ventilator this afternoon and she should be off the IV's and starting to get breast milk through the g-tube tomorrow. All of the doctors and nurses who worked on little Riley today were AMAZING! We are so thankful that this is over with and that this is a big step toward getting her home! =) We are continuing to believe for God's protection and healing in her life and we can't wait to share more & more good news with you all as she gets better & better. Thanks to all of our friends and family for your support today. We love you!

So glad to hear Miss Riley's surgery went well. We continue to pray for your little one and the entire family. Jesus used a little boy with fish and bread to feed thousands...how amazing that He is using Riley to touch hearts also. She is "fearfully and wonderfully made" perfectly formed the way He wanted her made.
